Have we become so obsessed with getting likes that we have forgotten where we actually are?

In order to remind people where they actually are, we created Photos of Tourists Taking Photos.

We shed a light on the tourist population of New York City in a new way. Showing who’s behind the photos that flood news feeds and social media - tourists. Tourists taking the same photos, making the same expressions, using the same hashtags and selfie sticks.

*To my surprise, the Ad Art Show highlighted my picture in their program.*

Out of all the attractions and sights to see in New York City, it's hard to find one that makes people more excited than their own face. #Photos #Tourist #NewYork

Each year tens of thousands crowd the sidewalks for the Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center and hundreds of millions more watch the live broadcast from home. Across the street you can find 3 or 4 people at St. Patrick’s Cathedral listening to a priest talk about some guy named Jesus. #Photos #Tourist #NewYork
